1. Overview
This Refund Policy sets out the terms on which techcadd (“we”, “our” or “us”) processes refund requests for course fees paid at our Hoshiarpur centre. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By enrolling in any programme, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this policy.
2. Cooling-Off Period
If you change your mind after enrolling, you may request a full refund within 3 (three) days of the date of payment, provided you have not attended more than one class or session. The refund will be processed to the original payment method within 15 business days.
3. Refund Before the Batch Starts
If your batch has not yet started and you wish to withdraw, you are eligible for a refund of 90% of the total fees paid. A 10% administrative charge is deducted to cover processing, counselling and seat reservation costs. The request must be made in writing (by email or in person) before the scheduled start date.
4. Refund After the Batch Starts
- Within the first 7 days of the start date: a refund of 70% of the total fees paid, provided no more than 3 sessions have been attended.
- Between day 8 and day 14: a refund of 50% of the total fees paid.
- After 14 days: no refund. You may instead request a batch transfer (subject to availability) or a course credit that can be applied to a different programme within 6 months.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not refundable under any circumstances:
- registration or admission fees;
- examination or certification fees;
- course materials, books or kits that have been issued;
- promotional discounts, scholarships or fee waivers already applied;
- fees for workshops, seminars or special events already attended.
6. Cancellation by Us
If we cancel a batch or programme because of insufficient enrolment or for any other reason, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid, or the option to transfer to another batch or programme of equal value. Refunds in such cases are processed within 15 business days.
7. Batch Transfer
Instead of a refund, you may request a one-time transfer to a different batch of the same course, subject to seat availability. Transfers must be requested at least 3 days before the new batch starts. The first transfer is free; subsequent transfers may attract an administrative fee.
8. Course Switch
If you wish to switch to a different course before completing 25% of your current programme, you may do so by paying any fee difference between the two. If the new course costs less, the difference is not refunded but is held as course credit. Course switches are subject to seat availability and counsellor approval.
9. How to Request a Refund
Send a written request to info@techcadd.com or visit the centre in person. Please include your full name, enrolment number, course name, date of payment, the reason for your request and a copy of your payment receipt.
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and communicate our decision within 7 business days. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 15 business days of approval.
10. EMI and Instalment Payments
If you enrolled on an EMI or instalment plan, the refund is calculated on the total fees paid to date, less any deductions that apply under this policy. Outstanding EMI obligations with a third-party finance provider must be settled directly with that provider.
11. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate it by writing to info@techcadd.com with the subject line “Refund Dispute”. We will review your case within 10 business days and communicate our final decision.
Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time; changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. The refund terms that apply to your enrolment are those in effect on the date of your payment.
