Counselling and the demo class are free. Come to the Hoshiarpur centre in Model Town or join live online, in a morning, evening or weekend batch.
Each module ends in a drawing, model or program you complete yourself.
Taught the way design offices and tool rooms pass work from drawing to model to machine.
Small batches and a trainer who checks your work, not just your attendance.
Attend at our Hoshiarpur centre or join the same batch live online.
Drawing sets, 3D models and programs ready to show.
A techcadd Hoshiarpur certificate once you complete the course and its project.

Counselling & demo class
A part drawing or a CNC program is judged on whether a workshop can make the part from it. Every exercise here is checked the same way, so you learn the drawing standard and the manufacturing reason along with the software.
Practice on shafts, brackets, housings and assemblies of the kind made in Punjab's workshops and factories.
Your trainer reviews each drawing, model and program the way a design or production senior would.
Dimensioning, tolerances and fits taught alongside the commands, not as a separate theory class.
Finished drawings, models and programs you can show an employer.
The course is built for learners arriving from different starting points.
B.Tech, diploma and ITI students who need the design software their trade uses.
Build the portfolio and interview practice that a first role actually asks for.
Weekend batches and 1-on-1 mentoring for people training without taking leave.
Add a tool or a specialisation to the drafting you already do every day.
Machinists, fitters and supervisors moving from the machine to the design or programming desk.
Eligibility
Not sure whether your background fits? Counselling is free — tell us your background and goal and we will suggest the right batch, with no obligation.
The stack you work with in class and in the live projects.
Finishing Machine Design puts three separate documents in your file — each one for a different part of what you did.
Awarded when you complete the Machine Design programme. Where the track has a recognised vendor exam, we prepare you for that as well.
For the live project you build during Machine Design, naming the work and the tools you used — so the project on your CV is backed by paper, not just claimed.
Take your training as a university internship and you finish with an internship letter covering your weeks on a project team.
See internship trainingIllustration — ask to see a real certificate at the centre.
How the paper is used
The roles Machine Design prepares you for, and the kinds of employers who use these skills. Outcomes depend on your own work and the market — we prepare you for interviews, we do not promise a job or a number.
Placement support comes with every course — portfolio review, mock interviews and guidance on where to apply.
Talk about placementsMost Machine Design courses cover a similar syllabus. What separates them is what you build while you are there, and what happens after the last session.
At techcadd: Every module ends in built work, and the course finishes with a portfolio project that goes through review.
At most places: Varies — worth asking whether you finish with work you can show.

What the call covers
Counselling and the demo class are both free.
It is a mechanical design course at our Model Town centre that joins design calculations to CAD — sizing shafts, bearings, gears and joints, then modelling and detailing the machine.
B.Tech and diploma mechanical students, fresh engineers aiming at design roles, and draughtsmen who want to move from drawing parts to designing them.
Strength of materials at diploma or degree level, and working knowledge of a 3D CAD tool such as SolidWorks or Creo. If you lack the CAD part, take that course first.
Both, on purpose. Each element is first sized by calculation in a spreadsheet, then modelled and checked in CAD, because a design engineer is expected to justify the dimensions, not only draw them.
Yes. Many students use the course project — a gearbox, jack or conveyor drive — as the base for their college project, with the calculation sheet and drawings to support it.
3 Months, across 4 modules and about 48 sessions. Weekday and weekend batches cover the same syllabus, so choose the timing that suits you.
Classes run at the techcadd centre in Model Town, Hoshiarpur (Inside City Center, near Bus Stand, Model Town, Hoshiarpur, Punjab 146001), and live online. Both cover the same material, so you can switch if your schedule changes.
Yes. You receive a techcadd Hoshiarpur certificate for Machine Design after completing the course and its final assessment.
