What you'll learn
Skills you build in 6 months
A 6-month certificate programme goes further than a single tool. The first months set the foundations; the later ones add the related skills employers ask for by name, with a project at each stage.

Machine drawings, tolerances and assembly sheets in AutoCAD for mechanical work.
- Draw orthographic, sectional and isometric views of a component
- Dimension drawings with limits, fits and tolerances
- Draw fasteners, shafts and other standard machine elements
- Prepare an assembly drawing with a bill of materials
- Mechanical CAD
SOLIDWORKS
Parametric part and assembly modelling for mechanical design.
- Build fully defined, editable sketches
- Model parts with clear design intent
- Assemble components and check interference
- Produce drawings with a bill of materials
- CAD/CAM
CAM Programming
Toolpaths, simulation and posted G-code for CNC milling and turning.

How it runs
How your 6 months are spent
Concepts first, then practice on the same day. Each stage ends in work that is checked.
- 01Months 1–2
Foundations
The fundamentals of each track in the programme, taught from the beginning and practised every session.
- 02Months 3–4
Core skills in depth
The tools employers name in job adverts, each one used on real exercises until it is routine.
- 03Month 5
Projects
Work that combines the tracks, built in stages and reviewed by a trainer at each one.
- 04Month 6
Certificate and interviews
Final project, certificate, a resume built around your work and practice interviews.
Projects

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Still unsure? A ten-minute call with a counsellor usually settles it faster than a page can.
Who can join the Mechanical CAD & CAM Certificate Program?
Anyone who has passed Class 12, in any stream. No prior experience is assumed — the programme starts at the fundamentals. College students, graduates and working people join the same batches.
How long is the Mechanical CAD & CAM Certificate Program?
It runs for six months, with weekday and weekend batches at the techcadd centre in Model Town, Hoshiarpur.
What will I learn?
The programme is built from AutoCAD Mechanical, SOLIDWORKS, CAM Programming, CNC Programming, Mastercam. Each has its own syllabus and projects, which you can read on its course page.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. You receive a certificate when you complete the programme and its project work.
Can I do this alongside college?
Yes. Batches run in the morning and the evening and at weekends, so the programme can sit alongside regular college classes or a job.
Is there placement support?
Yes: a resume built around your projects, mock interviews with feedback and introductions to employers. We support your job search; we do not promise a particular job or salary.
How do I find out the fee?
Fees depend on the batch and the tracks you take. Call or message the admissions desk, or book a free counselling session, and you will get the current fee and instalment options.
